Jeffrey Nelson, a visionary healthcare IT pioneer and innovator, held the role of Chief Information and Innovation Officer at Millennium Physician Group (MPG) from 2009 until his joining Mosaic Health in 2024. Under his strategic leadership, he spearheaded the development and implementation of an award-winning physician- and patient-centric Health Information Technology (HIT) ecosystem. His groundbreaking efforts positioned MPG as a leader in value-based care, supporting over 900 healthcare providers across the Southeast and creating a scalable technology growth model. This transformative platform, set to be expanded nationwide, reflects his commitment to advancing healthcare technology and driving operational excellence at scale.

Prior to MPG, he was the CEO of Avant Garde Enterprises. Before Avant Garde Enterprises, Jeffrey was the President and CEO of Anexio, a business and technology consulting company. Jeffrey previously served as CIO of Capital Markets Group and National Restaurant Association. He holds a B.A. in Business Management from the San Diego Theological Seminary and an executive M.B.A. from the Quinlan School of Business at the Loyola University, Chicago. He also is a Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).
