Tony Hughes has spent his career at growth-oriented and innovative companies whose goals are focused on improving the U.S. healthcare system. He has over 15 years in finance focused operating roles with a shared goal of organizational value creation. In addition to his role at Mosaic Health, Tony is an operating advisor to Clayton, Dubilier and Rice (CD&R).

Tony was an early team member at naviHealth, a leader in leveraging technology to improve post-acute care in partnership with health plans, hospital systems, risk-bearing physician groups, and other healthcare providers. He was CFO from 2015 to 2021 and led the company through a period of rapid growth and profitability, culminating in its acquisition by UnitedHealth Group in 2020. Prior to naviHealth, Tony held finance and corporate development roles at managed care companies HealthSpring, Inc. and WellCare Health Plans. Tony earned a B.S. from the University of Tennessee.
